‘Forest Lights’

Museum quality giclée art print from my latest solo- exhibition ‘Human.Nature’ at HOME Mcr from 30th September- 20 November 2022.
This collect of artworks urges us to consider what the world of fungi can teach us about being human through the observation of connected tree nodes and mycelium networks.
The exhibition brought together a series of smaller scale paintings that informed a larger-scale mural. The works explored the mystery, power and untapped potential of vast networks of fungi that extend around our planet. Fungi are cited as one of the first complex life forms and I took inspiration from how they are intrinsically linked to the human experience and critical for life to survive on earth.
