In 1787, Manchester led the way in the fight to abolish slavery. Mancunians of every colour and creed gathered together at Manchester Cathedral to sign a petition. - Over 10,500 signatures were collected, more than any other British City.
The Cathedral was the first stop on the Making History march this September in Manchester and I created this artwork to inform, celebrate and commemorate the wonderful things that can be achieved when we work together in unity.
This poster is a digital print of my original mixed media illustration.
Printed on 300gsm cardstock with a 10mm white boarder, perfect for framing.
